Kitchen Flooring – What are the Options?

Kitchen flooring has come a long way since old-fashioned laminates. There are now a variety of options that look good and are durable as well. This is important, as the kitchen is probably going to be one of the most high-traffic areas of the home. Here are some of the option to consider:

  • Real wood. Few things look quite as good as a real wood flooring. Choose from woods like oak and other hardwoods for a long-lasting flooring. Be careful not to scratch it and it can last for many years.
  • Laminate. Laminates are now highly sophisticated and can be made to look like other materials like stone or tiles. Laminate is cheaper, less delicate and less cold.
  • Tiles. You can use real tiles, just be careful to make sure they aren’t going to be too slippy. They will give you a beautiful premium finish – tiles will never go out of fashion.
