If you are looking to refresh your kitchen for as little money as possible we suggest your follow these suggestions:
- Give your kitchen a thorough clean – even get a professional in, they can do the whole kitchen, top to bottom including: cleaning tiles and removing grot, inside/outside cupboards and your hob/oven and the rest. They will have the tools and products to do this to a very high standard and quickly. Or you can spend the time and money on products yourself – your choice.
- Decide if you like the kitchen cupboard doors. If you do, perhaps a lick of gloss paint could make these look new and improved. Or if you don’t – replace the doors. This will create a new feeling in your kitchen without having it completely replaced.
- If part or all of your kitchen is tiled, you could look to swap some tiles to create an accent colour. Or you could remove all the tiles from certain areas (or all of the kitchen) and then paint/wallpaper the room. If you do remove tiles from behind your hob, make sure you replace them with a type of splashguard, or you will ruin your paintwork!
